Collection of methane (CH4) and dissolved inorganic carbon (DIC) concentration profile data (µmol/L) from five lakes (stations), i.e. Almbergasjön (Abisko), Erken (Erken), Erssjön (Skogaryd), Feresjön (Asa) and Stortjärn (Svartberget), linked to the Thematic Program SITES Water, which has been running since 2016. Water samples for CH4 and DIC analysis were collected at the central lake sampling location from surface (0.5 m) and bottom waters (near-sediment). Samples were collected on a monthly/bi-weekly basis.
