The stream Degernäsbäcken drains an agricultural catchment in the vicinity of an urban area in Umeå. Sampling point 1B is within Degernäsbäcken, located 770 meters downstream relative to the confluence of Degernäsbäcken and Röbäcken. At sampling point 1, discharge (1-hour resolution) is estimated from the correlation between the monitored stream level and instantaneous discharge measurements by NaCl slug injections .
