A comprehensive sediment survey of Feresjön (Asa Research Station) was carried out Nov 15th-16th, 2020. The purpose of the sediment sampling was to assess sediment thickness and sediment properties (water content, organic carbon (C) and nitrogen (N) content and grain size distribution). Livingstone cores were taken to assess properties of deep sediment. Gravity cores were collected to assess spatial variability of sediment properties at various water depth and at locations where lake greenhouse gas emission is monitored with floating chambers.
